Fun New Contest!

This month we’re featuring a new contest for parents to practice some fun photography skills. To compete you don’t even have to be a Bella Baby client. The only requirement for the picture is to have a veggie hat in the picture. Purchase your veggie hat here!

It can be on any kid regardless of age, or even a beloved pet. Entries are due August 31st and you can send them to contest@bellababyphotography.com. The winner will receive a free Bella Life sitting (which is a $150 value!). Just be creative and have fun!

June Parent Photo Contest

Congratulations to Bella Baby clients, Adrienne and Haendel Lamour, on winning June’s Parent Photo Contest. Bella Baby first photographed their little girl, Leighton Marie, at Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine. Great job on such a lovely photo. They will receive a free Bella Life sitting!

We want to see how our Bella Babies are growing.  Send us one of your favorite photos of your baby each month to secure your chance to win a free Bella Life sitting ($125 value).  The sky’s the only limitation to your imagination…..the only requirements are that your baby is in the photo, you are not a professional photographer, and that your baby was originally photographed by Bella Baby Photography. Send your entry to contest@bellababyphotography.com with “Parent Photo Contest” in the subject line.

Please include: your baby’s name, mom’s name, and the hospital name, city and state that Bella Baby photographed your little one.

Kelly’s Favorite Things

Bella Baby CEO and Founder, Kelly Billington, welcomed her third bundle of joy 10 months ago. Having a new baby has brought her attention to some of the most useful tools for moms. If you are a mother yourself, you know how many smiles, laughs and worries come along with a little one. We are excited to start a new series in our blog about some of the coolest things for today’s moms.

Our first favorite thing is the Snuza by Biosentronics. With the numerous reports of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), this product will bring many parents’ minds to ease. Snuza is a mobile baby movement monitor that you clip to your baby’s diaper. It rests on your baby’s stomach while it sleeps and is there to detect if there is ever an extended period of no movement. If your baby were to stop all movement for 15 seconds, the Halo model would emit a safe, vibrating stimulus to gently rouse your baby. If after 5 more seconds, movement has not resumed, Snuza would sound an alarm to alert you to act. The Snuza is even usable with premature babies. The Snuza is suggested for babies between the ages of 0-12 months.
