December 2025 winners
Our December contest welcomed in-hospital newborn photographers from across the country to submit their favorite recent images. Each entry captured tender expressions, cozy family snuggles, and the unmistakable wonder of meeting a new baby. Here’s what some of our winners had to say about their images:

“I love capturing Daddies and their babies. This dad was excited and eager to participate. The baby had been so alert and I asked Dad to bring baby close to his face. I noticed how dad was smiling and so was the baby. It was a moment captured, that I hope brings happiness and joy to their family for a lifetime.” -Jennifer Jones, 1st place

“I asked as I usually do when I’m wrapping up the photo session if there’s anything else the family would like me to capture. Dad said he would really love to document a skin to skin image. I happily obliged! This pose took some time to work into place and the pacifier was a saving grace, but we got everything to come together for this sweet moment between dad and son.” -Kate Fowler, honorable mention
4th quarter Bella Baby winners
For our last quarterly challenge of 2025, we invited in-hospital photographers to focus on the little things that tell a big story. The theme, Best Detail, celebrated tiny fingers curled around a parent’s hand, wisps of hair, delicate eyelashes, and all the small features families never want to forget. Here’s what the winners had to share about their images:

“Capturing the details of the lips is not something I always do, but this cutie kept making these adorable little bubbles. I knew I needed to add that to the story of the session.” -Nichole Olea, 1st place

“This little girl was so calm and sleepy. Mom and dad wanted to be included, and I knew I wanted to include dad’s sweatshirt. I love this pose because it includes dad, all the details of babies’ face and hands, and shows their size compared to parents’ hands. Baby girl had a matching bow to dad’s sweater, it was so cute!! I’m blessed and honored I got to take their pictures.” -Brittany Renfro, honorable mention
4th quarter Bella Life winners
Our second quarterly contest highlighted the talents of our Bella Life photographers working beyond the hospital walls. The winning images drew us in with authentic connection, reminding us that meaningful moments happen everywhere. Our winners shared these statements about their photos:

“Mom and Dad were trying to get the boys to sit for a photo and that was just not happening, so I changed things up. I pulled the rocking horse out and put the youngest brother on there and asked big brothers to help him. It was a very cute candid moment of the three of boys!” -Lauren Naldzin, 1st place

“This was the sweetest family! Mom is a nurse at our hospital and we photographed both girls when they were born. I was so happy to see them come out for Pictures in the Park. Both kids were wonderful and they had such a fun and loving family dynamic.” -Laurel Albrecht, 2nd place
