It’s the end of another month which means we have another round of contest winners to share! With this month we’re back to our regular monthly contests for Bella Baby and Bella Life. We may not have a special category this month, but we sure have a lot of cuteness. See all the July 2024 contest winners in the video below. Now a word from our winners….
How about this 1st place winner captured by Chicago photographer Maura Sheehan?
Maura shared this story about the winning image: “I knew when I walked into this room it was going to be special. Dad is a Chicago Police officer, he has everything ready and I knew just what to do with it. My dad was also a Chicago police officer and when I had my boys and Bella Baby did their pictures I also used my dads police stuff. Not a lot of talking was going on in this room but words did not need to be said because the emotions said enough, I think through all of us.”
Mollie Logan of Waukee, IA, captured this precious sibling moment & received an honorable mention in our contest. Here’s what she had to say about her image: “Big brother was just the sweetest little man. He was unsure of getting his pictures taken with his new sibling. As I was prepping for the shot, he spilled juice all down his handsome, white collared shirt. I reassured mom that we could still get some amazing images without the perfectly picked out top. Dad airplane flew big brother onto the couch as I placed his new sibling by his side. My vision was to have brother embrace baby, but he had a different plan. He clamped his hands together, letting me know that he was not comfortable holding brother. I thanked him for telling me and placed baby on his shoulder. I starting “booping” big brothers nose, making a game out of it. Dad was close by, just in case brother decided the shoot was over. The result was a perfectly timed image that demonstrates the innocence of being a child… but, can we talk about those eyes?!”
