A word from the October winners
“This family was excited for photos, mom is a L&D nurse on our floor and had heard good things about us. I asked her if she had anything she’d like to include in photos and she pulled out an adorable balloon shaped, “Hello World” sign. I knew I had to try a pose with baby holding the string. Fortunately, he was a dream to work with and I love how it came it out!”

“Capturing these sweet siblings was an absolute joy. This sister and brother are beautiful expressions of their Nigerian heritage and reflect the deep love and pride their family has for them. The room was bathed in soft, natural light. I enhanced the gentle glow with flash to ensure every delicate detail, from their tiny fingers to their peaceful expressions, was captured. This simple approach allowed me to focus on capturing the raw, tender moments while showcasing all the precious day-one details that make them so unique. It was an honor to document this special chapter in their lives.”

“This was my first time meeting this family as their hospital photos were taken by another photographer. I learned a lot about them while we walked through the park and just loved the connection we formed. Their baby was in the NICU for quite a long time, so discharge day photos with Bella Baby had a special meaning for them. Capturing this photo was all in good timing. I saw how the light was hitting the tops of the tall grasses and knew we only had a minute to use it. Getting them into position quickly, I was very happy with how everything came together around their colorful attire. This was a great family to work with and I hope I get to again someday.”
